About
Apiarylane is a personal apiary business assistant and beekeeping learning hub. Hobbyists get a clearer first season. Sideline keepers get yards, honey numbers, and market notes in one place. Core features work offline after setup. Optional yard weather is a light peek and fails gracefully without a network.
Apiarylane is an independent app. It is not affiliated with any beekeeping association, university extension, equipment brand, or veterinary service. Field Guide pest sheets are educational only and are not a diagnosis or treatment plan for colonies.
Yards, hive logs, harvests, journal entries, and Journey progress stay in the app’s local storage. No sign-in. No social feed. Open the App Store listing when you are ready to keep.

Effective: March 11, 2026 · Last updated: August 10, 2026Apiarylane does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number inside the app. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
The following content that you create is stored locally on your device (and, for the widget snapshot, in the shared App Group on the same device):
If you open the optional yard weather peek, the Application may request current conditions from the public Open-Meteo forecast API using the latitude and longitude saved with that yard. Those coordinates are sent only to complete that weather request. The feature is optional and fails gracefully offline. We do not operate a weather account for you.
Inspection Round Live Activity and the Home Screen widget use Apple system frameworks on your device. A small snapshot (tasks remaining, average health, next inspection hint, honey year-to-date, round progress) is written to the on-device App Group so the widget can update. We do not receive Lock Screen or widget contents on our servers.
We do not collect your apiary records on our servers, and we do not sell personal information. Features run from data stored on your device. Open-Meteo receives only the coordinates needed for an optional forecast lookup you initiate.
Local records remain in the Application’s private storage on your device. There is no cloud sync operated by us. Deleting the Application removes associated local data, including App Group widget snapshots. Device passcode and iOS protections apply as they do to other apps.
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because apiary records stay on the device and we do not operate user accounts, the Application aligns with COPPA-style expectations for apps that do not collect personal data on our servers.
You can edit or delete yards, hives, ledger rows, journals, and progress inside the app. Uninstalling the Application permanently removes local data from that device.
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the dates above. Material changes to how optional weather requests work will be described here.
